Our Story and Mission

Creating Moments of Connection, Remembrance and Comfort

Ot Chaim stands alongside families who lost loved ones during the Swords of Iron War, bringing moments of connection, remembrance and genuine comfort in the face of enduring grief.

💔 Grief That Never Fully Leaves

For bereaved families, every day begins and ends with an absence that cannot be filled. Grief changes but never disappears; the memory of a loved one stays with every thought and every breath.

🏡 How Can We Comfort a Grieving Family?

How can we offer a moment of light in the midst of such darkness?

📜 This Is What Ot Chaim Strives to Do.

We write Torah scrolls in memory of fallen IDF soldiers and other victims, preserving their names for future generations. At the heart of our work are intimate gatherings in the families’ homes, where bereaved relatives join us in writing letters in the Torah scroll and sharing stories and memories.

✨ You Can Be Part of This Mission

Dedicate a Hebrew letter in this Torah scroll and take part in a sacred, lasting tribute, in memory of your own loved ones or the fallen.

🙏 In Jewish Tradition, Every Torah Letter Holds a World of Meaning

Taking part in the writing of a Torah scroll carries profound spiritual significance. It is an opportunity to honor those we have lost while strengthening the families who carry their memory.

It Is More Than a Donation.

It is an act of light, remembrance and enduring connection.

Join Us in Remembering and Comforting 💙

Help Turn Grief into Connection and Hope 🙏
